I'm Still Here: A Testimony

Then the Lord answered me and said:

“Write the vision

And make it plain on tablets,

That he may run who reads it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time;

But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.

Though it tarries, wait for it;

Because it will surely come,

It will not tarry

(Habakkuk 2:2-3).

I am still here.  

And I am going back to what I’ve been put here to do.  But before I start, I want to thank you all who have been praying for me, emailing me, harassing me about my next blog entry, vlog episde, or book.  That harassment is always sweet to my soul!  It means that even as God takes me through changes, or as I face challenges that may delay me in sharing a word, you guys ain’t forget to check on ol’ Vacirca V. Vaughn.

Well, after almost two months’ worth of weeks, I received the unction to begin again.  We’re getting right back into this series, just where we left off.  If you need to go back and refresh your spirit, and memory, please do…however moving forward, we at Esther 31 Ministries are ready to resume the Take Back Your Life series.   

Before I get into that, I have to stop and give glory to God.  These past few weeks (“couple of months” sounds worse for some reason) have been marked with battle after battle.  Some were spiritual and some were carnal.  I tell you, after releasing the last of these blog installments, preparing to work on my long-overdue latest novel, and getting to a place to begin the next few projects God had placed on my heart—along with those people He has sent to assist and partner with me—the devil became enraged. 

I figured that out when I kept encountering a number of witches who were very clear about their desire to attack me. Remember I blogged about demonic dreams and attacks?  Well, I got a lot of those too.  My own health began to take a toll.  I began to experience conflicts with a cousin who was beginning to become a prayer partner and friend; she was the only one in my family who would join me in fighting for the remainder of our unsaved family who are still practicing either false religion, witchcraft, or a combination of the two—Haitian style.   I was led to assist a best friend whose wife left him with nothing after he got saved, and was made to return to NY—after moving out of NY for the first time ever!!—to assist my mom who is assisting an aunt who for no reason at all, suddenly took leave of her senses.  Because the sudden acute loss of memory and paranoia was causing her to nearly beat my mother every time she came around with a hot meal and help, I had to return to NY to help my mom help my second mom, my aunt, who hates us both for doing so. 

Of course, this is all during a time when I am not working.  Normally I would rejoice in having time to write, but found it nearly impossible to do so.

Not to mention fighting depression about the fact that I am about to be 37 and stillllllllllllllllllllll unmarried.

So it’s been a daily battle. Yet, God has used the opportunity to train me on a different level of prayer and intercessory prayer ministry.  Due to these constant attacks, God began to really train me in the area of deliverance ministry.  It was during this time God paused all of my works to teach me further so I can better share what I’ve learned with those who God has chosen to interact with me, and read my works, according to His will, for His glory.

So I give glory to God for sustaining me.  Many times I thought I was going to die—primarily because the devil told me in a dream-like situation (vision?) that he was gonna kill me, only to send the witches and demons to try me.    Many times, I thought the stress of my health issues, and family members’ health issues, were nothing more than bullies—hired hit men that were commissioned to distract and delay me from my next batch of work.   Many times I had no energy to write what God did teach me because the enemy tormented me out of sleep, for days at a time, to exhaust me so I could barely function.  Of course, God always showed up and through Jesus, by the Holy Spirit’s anointing, led me to victory in the spiritual warfare…but hey, anyone ever hear of a prayer warrior growing battle weary?

One of the first prayer warriors, the Prophet Elijah, is raising his hand from Heaven.

But thanks for letting me give God the glory for keeping me in this short blog entry.  The latest testimony wasn’t exactly off topic, but it was a bit of a detour.  

And, yes, the devil continues to try to distract, delay, discourage, defeat, and destroy me…but GOD….

‘Nuff said about that. 

No.  Just for fun, though, I’ma say it again, “But God!”

So today, after a bit of prayer and fasting, I got the Holy Spirit nudge that it is time to get back to it.  It may take me a week, or 52, to finish sharing what I am learning about this and other things…and it may annoy you readers to have to wait sometimes…but don’t give up on me because I am not giving up on God.   So, as I said, today, we are returning to the Take Back Your Life Series.

And since the enemy tried to kill me but couldn’t these past several weeks…couple of months…I figured it was hilarious how God brought me back to this word that I started in November and could not complete:

Letting Things Die!                                                               

You see, as I began researching for the fourth installment of the Take Back Your Life series, regarding how we take back our lives by letting things die, I was excited to share this.  Of course that is when all hell began to break loose, and I had to put my first love in the back…again!  But as I have mentioned many times, it is the lack of knowledge, for many Christian that causes us to perish (Hosea 4:6).

So I pray it will work out. Stay tuned for the next installment which I pray will bless you as you grow in your relationship with Christ Jesus and become delivered as He leads you to take back your life!
