Take Back Your Life Series, Part III: Coming Against Demonic Attacks in Dreams

Scripture: 

Psalm 27: A psalm of David.

¹ The Lord is my light and my salvation—

    so why should I be afraid?

The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger,

    so why should I tremble?

² When evil people come to devour me,

    when my enemies and foes attack me,

    they will stumble and fall.

³ Though a mighty army surrounds me,

    my heart will not be afraid.

Even if I am attacked,

    I will remain confident.

⁴ The one thing I ask of the Lord—

    the thing I seek most—

is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,

    delighting in the Lord’s perfections

    and meditating in his Temple.

⁵ For he will conceal me there when troubles come;

    he will hide me in his sanctuary.

    He will place me out of reach on a high rock.

⁶ Then I will hold my head high

    above my enemies who surround me.

At his sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy,

    singing and praising the Lord with music.

⁷ Hear me as I pray, O Lord.

    Be merciful and answer me!

⁸ My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.”

    And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.”

⁹ Do not turn your back on me.

    Do not reject your servant in anger.

    You have always been my helper.

Don’t leave me now; don’t abandon me,

    O God of my salvation!

¹⁰ Even if my father and mother abandon me,

    the Lord will hold me close.

¹¹ Teach me how to live, O Lord.

    Lead me along the right path,

    for my enemies are waiting for me.

¹² Do not let me fall into their hands.

    For they accuse me of things I’ve never done;

    with every breath they threaten me with violence.

¹³ Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness

    while I am here in the land of the living.

¹⁴ Wait patiently for the Lord.

    Be brave and courageous.

    Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.

In this series, I thought another word was going to be prepared first, but I feel led to share about this in Esther 31 Ministries Take Back Your Life Series.  It has to do with the power of dreams, visions, and signs.  And our lack of knowledge, for many Christians, is where we perish.

I have been dreaming lately of horrible things.  And of strange things.  And of things that look good.  Funny thing, those dreams.  They never mean what you think they should or could mean!

For example, I’ve learned through browsing many Christian Dream Interpretation websites that dreaming of a baby could mean a birth of ministry in your life.  However, for everything God creates, the devil counterfeits.  What that means is that there are also “demonic babies” in dreams that could symbolize a warning that a demonic assignment (witchcraft, oppression, opposition, etc) has been “birthed” against you, by a Satanic agent--such as the woman at church that you did not know was a full-blown, blood-sacrificing-for-power-witch!  She hasn’t any real reason to want to kill you.  That witch at church is simply obeying her master—or rather, that demon she serves.  She also serves that demon’s master too.  Who is that, you ask?  Well, Satan himself, of course.   

It’s nothing personal…of course!

Another example, I’ve learned, is that you dream of a police officer or soldier, and feel safe in the dream, only to discover that soldiers/men in uniform with guns represent “hired guns” or Balaams (see Numbers 22), sent on assignment to take your life and destiny!  They have been sent as demonic forces to “arrest” your success!

In my growth in Intercessory Prayer Ministry, and Deliverance Ministry, the levels of attacks, I’m facing, are stronger than ever before.  Unfortunately, I’ve been—at times-- dreaming in ways that were clearly designed to steal God’s destiny and portion for my life.  But it’s nothing to fear!  God allows me to experience these things for myself so I can help others—even as He does His work for my own life!  He is breaking curses and reversing satanic prayers, but is still allowing things to happen; I believe God wants to train me to go to the next level in my destiny and purpose.

So, yes, the Lord has revealed the enemy can also attack in the spirit realm through our dreams.

And although I am not ordained by God, right now, to offer interpretations of dreams for His people—unless He leads me to for specific people here and there—the Spirit of God has been revealing little by little to me directly—or through His chosen sources.  It is most likely as a result of God choosing to manifest Jeremiah 33:3 in me, which He led me to pray over my life; it says, “‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”  

No, I do not want to be a psychic—which is a person who can know the “secret things”—such as the future, without God.  Having said that, you can ask God to reveal the “hidden things” and He can decide what He chooses to share.  Now, as a result, I can offer prayer guidelines to come against anything, in your dream realm, sent to steal what was given to you, by the Lord, and is your portion!

Many of the prayers and information were taken from a great prophet, preacher, and prayer warrior from Nigeria.  Dr. Daniel Olukoya, from Mountain Fire Ministries, often teaches about spiritual warfare.  God has been using him, along with Apostle John Eckhardt, Apostle Kimberly Daniels, and even here on Facebook, Apostle Paul Williams, to teach me about deliverance ministry—which is another level of intercessory prayer ministry.  I have been made to study their writings, as led by the Holy Spirit, as well as others—such as the daily deliverance prayer radio show from Shannon Davis (we are friends on Facebook).

These spiritual mentors writings on dreams and their interpretations, as well as their deliverance/spiritual warfare prayers, have been useful for me in reversing some of the craziness the enemy wants to use against me, a woman of prayer, who is also being used to write about some things folks in church don't want to discuss so much anymore.  Having said that, I am sharing these prayers because the Lord led me to.  

The ones below can be a guide for your spiritual warfare prayers—modify them in application to your own life as God leads you to.  However, you should always begin any type of prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to lead you, and pray the way you are led to pray and battle.  In the Name of Jesus, I decree that you can and will  have victory over demonic attacks in your dreams.  Prayers and information were used from:

The Way of Escape from Satanic Attacks in Dreams:  

1. You must give your life to Christ and experience the new birth. When you take this step, you will experience a major lift from the level of defeat to the level of dominion. Although Christians will always be in battle against God's enemies, we know that giving our lives to Christ--and being under His covering--will empower us in a way that can hinder the attacks because the bible says:

“Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the Kingdom of his dear son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1:13, 14).

2. You must pray fervently as instructed below. Prayer changes things. Prayer can change your dreams, too. Significantly, prayer removes the hands of the devil from your dreams.                                                                                 
3. Get personal practical help. In most cases, you may need person-to-person counselling. Thousands of lives have been transformed through counseling and prayer. Your spiritual problem is a major concern. If you were attacked in your dream, never panic when you wake up. Coolly and calmly, even if your body is vibrating with fear, take the offensive. Use the name of Jesus as your combination shield and battering ram. Plead the Blood of Jesus and claim protection against the hosts of darkness. Rebuke Satan and take authority over him and his wicked followers in the name of Jesus. Be persistent.                                                                                                                                                                                                       By the way, ANY REGULAR DREAM SHOULD BE GIVEN PROPER ATTENTION. It may be a pointer to the way of solution to a particular problem. Be assured that the devil and his cohorts are behind all the horrible experiences in dreams like eating with the dead, swimming in water, serving people you do not know, playing with snakes, marriage in the spirit world with unknown men or women, having children in the spirit world, having sexual intercourse with known or unknown partners, getting out of the body for meetings, forceful sex or feeding, regular drinking of red liquid, being on a throne with unknown or known faces worshiping or bowing down to you and presence in unholy parties etc.                                       
4. Finally, medidate on the Scriptures and lift up praise and worship to the Lord to prepare you heart for the spriritual warfare prayers shared below:

PRAYER POINTS FOR SPIRITUAL WARFARE AGAINST ATTACKS IN DREAMS:

1. I claim all the good things which God has revealed to me through dreams. I reject all bad and satanic dreams in the Name of Jesus. You are going to be specific here. Place your hand on your chest and talk to God specifically about the dreams which need to be cancelled. Cancel it with all your strength. If it need fire, command the fire of God to burn it to ashes.)
2. O Lord, perform the necessary surgical operation in my life and change all that had gone wrong in the spirit world.
3. I claim back all the good things which I have lost as a result of defeat and attacks in my dreams in Jesus’ Name.
4. I arrest every spiritual attacker and paralyse their activities in my life in the Name of Jesus.
5. I retrieve my stolen virtues, goodness and blessings in Jesus’ Name.
6. Let all satanic manipulations through dreams be dissolved in Jesus’ Name.
7. Let all arrows, gun shots, wounds, harrassment, opposition in dreams return to the sender in the Name of Jesus.
8. I reject every evil spiritual load placed on me through dreams in Jesus’ Name.
9. All spiritual animals (cats, dogs, snakes, crocodiles) paraded against me should be chained and return to the senders in the Name of Jesus.
10. Holy Ghost, purge my intestine and my blood from satanic foods and injections.
11. I break every evil covenant and intiation through dreams in the Name of Jesus.
12. I disband all the hosts of darkness set against me in the Name of Jesus.
13. Every evil imagination and plan contrary to my life should fail woefully in the Name of Jesus.
14. Every doorway and ladder to satanic invasion in my life should be abolished forever by the Blood of Jesus.
15. I loose myself from curses, hexes, spells, bewitchment and evil domination directed against me through dreams in the Name of Jesus.
16. I command you ungodly powers, release me in the Name of Jesus.
17. Let all past satanic defeats in the dream be converted to victory in the Name of Jesus.
18. Let all the tests in the dream be converted to testimonies in Jesus’ Name.
19. Let all trials in the dream be converted to triumphs in Jesus’ Name.
20. Let all failures in the dream be converted to success in Jesus’ Name.
21. Let all scars in the dream be converted to stars in Jesus’ Name.
22. Let all bondage in the dream be converted to freedom in Jesus’ Name.
23. Let all losses in the dream be converted to gains in Jesus’ Name.
24. Let all opposition in the dream be converted to victory in Jesus’ Name.
25. Let all weaknesses in the dream be converted to strength in Jesus’ Name.
26. Let all negative in the dream be converted to positive in Jesus’ Name.
27. I release myself from every infirmity introduced into my life through dreams in the Name of Jesus.
28. Let all attempts by the enemy to deceive me through dreams fail woefully in the Name of Jesus.
29. I reject evil spiritual husband, wife, children, marriage, engagement, trading, pursuit, ornament, money, friend, relative, etc. in the Name of Jesus.
30. Lord Jesus, wash my spiritual eyes ears and mouth with your blood.
31. The God who answerth by fire should answer by fire whenever any spiritual attacker against me.
32. Lord Jesus, replace all satanic dreams with heavenly visions and divnely-inspired dreams.
33. Let the blood of Jesus wash all the organs in my body in the Name of Jesus.
34. Confess these scriptures out loud: (Psalm 27: 1-2, 1 Cor. 10:21, Psalm 91)
35. I command every evil plantation in my life, COME OUT WITH ALL YOUR ROOTS in the Name of Jesus! (Lay your hands on your stomach and keep repeating the emphasized area.)
36. Evil strangers in my body, come all the way out of your hiding places in the Name of Jesus.
37. I disconnect any conscious or unconscious linkage with demonic caterers in the Name of Jesus.
38. Let all avenues of eating or drinking spiritual poisons be close in the Name of Jesus.
39. I cough out and vomit any food eaten from the table of the devil in the Name of Jesus. (Cough them out and vomit them in faith. Prime the expulsion).
40. Let all negative materials circulating in my blood stream be evacuated in the Name of Jesus’.
41. I drink the Blood of Jesus. (Physically swallow and drink it in faith. Keep doing this for some time).
42. Let all evil spiritual feeders warring against me drink their own blood and eat their own flesh.
43. I command all demonic food utensils fashioned against me to be roasted in the Name of Jesus.
44. Holy Ghost fire, circulate all over my body.
45. I command all physical poisons inside my system to be neutralized in the Name of Jesus.
46. Let all evil assignments fashioned against me through the mouth gate be nullified in the Name of Jesus.
47. Let all spiritual problems attached to any hour of the night be cancelled in the Name of Jesus. (Pick the periods from 12 midnight down to 6:00 am)
48. Bread of Heaven, fill me till I want no more.
49. Let all catering equipment of evil caterers attached to me be destroyed in the Name of Jesus.
50. I command my digestive system to reject every evil command in the Name of Jesus.
51. Let all satanic designs of oppression against me in dreams and visions be frustrated in the Name of Jesus.
52. I remove my name from the register of evil feeders with the Blood of Jesus.
53. Let the habitation of evil caterers become desolate in the Name of Jesus.
54. I paralyze the spirit that brings bad dreams to me in the Name of Jesus.
55. Let the fire of the Holy Ghost destroy any evil list containing my name, in the Name of Jesus.
56. Let the fire of the Holy Ghost destroy any evil list containing my name in the Name of Jesus.
57. I destroy any coffin prepared for me in the Name of Jesus.
58. I cancel and wipe off all evil dreams in the Name of Jesus.
59. I destroy every satanic accident organized for my sake in the Name of Jesus.
60. I render all evil night creatures powerless in the Name of Jesus.
61. Let the blood of Jesus wash all the organs in my body in the Name of Jesus.
62. Let all sicknesses planted in my life through evil spiritual food be destroyed in the Name of Jesus.
63. Let the Blood of Jesus erase all evil dreams in the name of Jesus.
64. Let the Fire of God boil all rivers harbouring unfriendly demons in the Name of Jesus.
65. Let all evil dreams be replaced with blessings in the Name of Jesus.
66. I command all my good dreams to come to pass in the Name of Jesus.
67. Father, hasten the performance of my good dreams.

Then after spiritual warfare, you can pray a prayer of praise, petition (and intercession for others, using specific people), with thanksgiving: 

O Lord, I thank you for another moment like this. I know that you will deliver me, along with______________ (add whomever) in demonstration of your mighty power. I know that the devil is in trouble as a result of this teaching. Father, I pray that you grant everyone the grace to be on fire at all at times so that all satanic strategies against them in their dreams will be cancelled. Lord, release your fire in the Name of Jesus. I pray for those who have suffered defeat as a result of bad dreams. I decree a complete reversal of all satanic curse in Jesus’ Name. Let every negative situation be changed to a positive situation in the name of Jesus. I destroy every work of the devil. Eternal Rock of Ages, I thank You. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
